Please make an appointment whenever possible, it will make your wait time much shorter. Emergencies are seen during normal office hours. They will be given appropriate precedence. If you have an appointment please try to understand that we would give your pet the same courtesy. We will try to accommodate your scheduled appointment as soon as we are able. After Hours Emergencies: All after hours emergencies should be taken to California Animal Referral and Emergency Hospital (CARE). You can contact them at (805) 899-2273. Occasionally some cases fall outside the scope and management of the services we provide. For these involved cases we will refer patients to local veterinary specialty care facilities whenever necessary. These facilities provide board certified veterinarians for surgery, ultrasound, internal medicine, ophthalmology, and behavioral medicine. We try to provide convenient and flexible health care hours by providing early morning drop-off service as early as 7:00am on weekdays. Simply check in your pet and leave a daytime contact number where you can be reached. Your pet will be ready to go at the end of your workday. At St. Francis Pet Clinic, our fees are competitive and are based on our time, skills and the quality of our personnel, our facility, and equipment. Payment is required when services are rendered. Estimates are always given upon request and for ongoing medical services.If you carry pet insurance, you are required to pay the hospital at the time of services and the insurance company will reimburse you where applicable. For your convenience we accept the following payment options: cash, check, Visa, and Master card. For your convenience, we can mail your medications to you. Our Shipping and handling fee is $7.00. If you would like to take advantage of this option we would need you to call us with a credit card number in advance. This would be a one time request as we can keep your number on file for future orders. Please note that not all prescriptions can be refilled without re-evaluation of your pets condition.We will contact you if there is a problem.
