Dr. Ron Faoro
Doctor Ron Faoro has a similar story to other people who ended up living in Santa Barbara after just “passing through.” A native of Portland, Oregon, he attended both the University of Oregon and Oregon State University before moving to Pullman, Washington to attend Washington State University School of Veterinary Medicine. He took the California state board exam in Irvine in June of 1981 and stopped off in Santa Barbara the next day on his drive home to Oregon. He's been working at St. Francis Pet Clinic ever since!
Every minute Doctor Faoro does not spend with his wife, Elizabeth, and daughter, Sierra, he spends paragliding in the beautiful back country of Santa Barbara. He is former president-elect of the California Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA). The CVMA is dedicated to leadership, thereby improving human and animal health in an ethically and socially responsible way. |
