Veterinarians

Dr. Ron Faoro

Doctor Ron Faoro has a similar story to other people who ended up living in Santa Barbara after just “passing through.” A native of Portland, Oregon, he attended both the University of Oregon and Oregon State University before moving to Pullman, Washington to attend Washington State University School of Veterinary Medicine. He took the California state board exam in Irvine in June of 1981 and stopped off in Santa Barbara the next day on his drive home to Oregon. He's been working at St. Francis Pet Clinic ever since!

Every minute Doctor Faoro does not spend with his wife, Elizabeth, and daughter, Sierra, he spends paragliding in the beautiful back country of Santa Barbara. He is former president-elect of the California Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA). The CVMA is dedicated to leadership, thereby improving human and animal health in an ethically and socially responsible way.

Dr. Lynne Lawrence

Dr. Lawrence grew up in Los Angeles. She attended University of California Santa Barbara for her undergraduate degree in zoology and UC Davis Veterinary School. She practiced veterinary medicine for six years in Sacramento and moved back to Santa Barbara in 2000 to start work at Saint Francis Pet Clinic.

When not at work, Dr. Lawrence and her husband are busy chasing their three growing boys around at the beach, parks or numerous hiking trails here in Santa Barbara.

Dr. Morgan

Dr. Rick Morgan began working at the St. Francis Pet Clinic August 2005. He was born in Colorado Springs, CO and grew up in Billings, MO. Dr. Morgan attended Colorado State University Veterinary School and graduated in 1982. He worked in Montana until 1985 when he moved to California. He has worked from Orange County all the way to Buellton.

Dr. Morgan enjoys horticulture, cooking, and stained glass. He owns 9 California Desert Tortoises and 1 Russian Spur Thighed Tortoise.

Dr. Kellye Harmon

Dr. Kellye Harmon graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 1996 with a degree in zoology. She then spent the next 7 years working at St. Francis Pet Clinic prior to attending UC Davis Veterinary School.

Following veterinary school, Dr. Harmon completed a 1 year internship program at Veterinary Medical and Surgical Group in Ventura, CA.

Dr. Harmon is now excited to be back "at home" at St. Francis Pet Clinic. Her professional interests include internal and critical care medicine as well as business management. When not at work, she and her boyfriend Sean enjoy relaxing at the beach and hiking with their great dane Jersey or spending time at home with their handsome orange tabby cat, Riley.
